\"Campbell\"<\/a><\/p>\n

As Kim and I look back over our 14 years of partnership with Faith Christian School, there are many memories of living out this relationship.\u00a0\u00a0 Our first child at Faith was Zack.\u00a0\u00a0 He began in the 4th<\/sup> grade and will be graduating from Purdue in May with an engineering degree.\u00a0 Janae started in 1st<\/sup> grade, and she is in her sophomore year at Liberty University.\u00a0\u00a0 Kylie, our youngest, has attended Faith all 13 years, and currently, finishing her senior year at Faith.<\/p>\n

Many of our thoughts reflect our thankfulness about how our children have been molded through the teaching at Faith.\u00a0 Kim and I can both say we have had some wonderful teachers, but more importantly, great examples of sacrificial and Christ-honoring teachers.\u00a0 For example, Kylie is our student who has had to work the hardest.\u00a0 We can remember a number of times her coming home to tell us how her teachers had given up a free period to help her to understand a concept they had taught.\u00a0 The teaching from Faith has also carried on throughout our children\u2019s education and lives.\u00a0When all the kids were home for the holidays this past Thanksgiving, I remember Kim asked the kids about ending a sentence with a preposition. One of them began rattling off the song or poem about prepositions taught by Miss Pendl (now Mrs. Gephart) in the 6th<\/sup> grade. Because of the English teachers at Faith, our daughter who is now at Liberty was very well prepared in English. Our son had a great start at Purdue because of the math program at Faith.<\/p>\n

We believe the greatest aspect of Faith Christian is that all things are Biblically based. 1 Corinthians 10:31 tells us, \u201c<\/sup>Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.\u201d Why do we play sports? Why do we have an excellent music program? Why does Faith have a great academic program? We as a school want to live out 1 Corinthians 10:31. Hopefully through applying the Bible in school on a daily basis, you can then say with the apostle John,\u00a0\u201c<\/sup>I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n

I also believe as parents, our involvement with our children\u2019s schooling can help us make great memories for our children.\u00a0 Recently, I remember the kids talking about one of the first field trips I went on with them to the Imax theatre at the children\u2019s museum to see the documentary on Lewis and Clark with my son\u2019s class. I also remember chaperoning field trips to the Museum of Science and industry with each of our kids when they were in the 6th<\/sup> grade.<\/p>\n

Kim and I want to say it has been a great race that we have run with Faith Christian School. We have developed lasting friendships, and our children have received a great education and for that we are truly, truly thankful.<\/p>\n
