Dustin at Jesus feet<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

While we were in Brazil, I attempted to lead Pastor Dustin Folden to Jesus.\u00a0 However,\u00a0as we neared Christ’s image, Pastor Folden was motivated to run to His feet!\u00a0 Don’t worry, there was no need of repentance.\u00a0 It was only a statue\u00a0 of Christ.\u00a0 The statue, shown above was on top of a mountain across from our hotel.\u00a0 The three-kilometer walk was quite steep and strenuous, so the old guys, Dan and I, met Dustin there a few minutes later.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Pastor Dustin Folden, Dr. Dan Wickert and I (David Selvey) have just returned from Sao Paulo, Brazil<\/a> where we participated in training over 500 pastors and lay people in biblical counseling<\/a>.\u00a0 This is the fifth year we have participated in this wonderful ministry of the Association of Biblical Counselors of Brazil.\u00a0 We are privileged to partner with these wonderful folks who are a driving force behind the biblical counseling movement in Brazil.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The comments about out great and awesome God were sometimes overwhelming as student after student told us how they were convicted by the Word of God to change and grow.\u00a0 Then they would tell us how the principles we shared from God’s word would be helpful in so many specific counseling cases. \u00a0 \"\"<\/a>Pray for a fruitful ministry in the biblical counseling movement in Brazil<\/a>.\u00a0 The finanical support needed to cover this ministry trip is just over $6,000 per year.\u00a0 This comes to about $12 per student or $2,000 per American teacher.\u00a0 We invite you to pray about partenring with us financially.\u00a0 Click here to contribute<\/a>.
