We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday&#8217;s lesson with your family.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">God Blesses Israel through Balaam<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Passage: <span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Numbers 22\u201324<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Principle: <span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>God is sovereign and keeps His promises.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Praise: <span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>\u201cIn My Life, Lord, Be Glorified\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Prompt: <span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Why did Balak want Balaam to curse Israel?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">What did God tell Balaam?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">What did God allow Balaam\u2019s donkey to do?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">What did God allow Balaam to do to Israel?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Practice: <span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">By serving and obeying God in everything he does.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">By checking his motives to be sure they are for God\u2019s glory<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">By remembering that God\u2019s blessing is unchangeable.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>This Week: <span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>As a family, read Numbers 22\u201324.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Next Week: <span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Deuteronomy 4<strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Memory Verse:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Psalm 117:2<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u201cFor His merciful kindness is great toward us, and the truth of the LORD endures forever.
