We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday&#8217;s lesson with your family.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">God offers Israel Healing from Sin<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Passage: <span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Numbers 21:4\u20139<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Principle: <span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>God is merciful and faithful.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Praise: <span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>\u201cI Will Sing of the Mercies\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Prompt: <span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Why did Israel complain?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">How did God punish the Israelites?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Did the people admit they had sinned?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">How did God offer healing from the snakebites?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Practice: <span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">By not complaining about God\u2019s provision.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">By remembering God\u2019s faithfulness in the past.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">By trusting Jesus as Savior.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>This Week: <span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>As a family, read Numbers 21:4\u20139.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Next Week: <span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Numbers 22\u201324<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Memory Verse:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>John 3:14<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u201cAnd as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children&#8217;s Sunday School classes on Sunday, June 24.
