We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Jesus\u2019 Triumphal Entry<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong>\u00a0Matthew 21:1-11<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ask your child:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What were the people doing as Jesus entered Jerusalem? <em>Choosing their pass over lamb.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Why did people celebrate Jesus\u2019 entry into the city? <em>Many believed He would deliver them from Roman rule.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>From what did Jesus plan to deliver people?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Emphasize this principle:\u00a0<\/strong>Jesus is our Passover Lamb. Therefore, we should choose to follow Him.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Practice:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Embrace Jesus as the One who can deliver you from sin.<\/li>\n<li>Choose to follow Jesus by obeying His Word.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cMajesty\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prepare for next week:<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Matthew 27:27-28:20<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memorize for June 1-22: <\/strong><strong>\u201cGo therefore and make disciples of all the nations<\/strong>, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.\u201d <strong>Matthew 28:19<\/strong>-20*<\/p>\n<p>* Preschool verse in bold<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, June 15.
