We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday&#8217;s lesson with your family.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">God Requires Holy Living<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Passage:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Leviticus 19<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Principle:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>God is holy and wants believers to live holy lives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Praise:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>\u201cO-B-E-D-I-E-N-C-E\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Prompt:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Why did God command the Israelites to live holy lives?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">What does it mean to be holy?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">How can one live a holy life?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Are Christians commanded to live holy lives?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Practice:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">By obeying his father and mother.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">By being kind to others.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">By obeying and respecting older people.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>This Week:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>As a family, read Leviticus 19.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Next Week:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Numbers 11-12 as many kids promote to their next class.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Key Verse:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Leviticus 19:2<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u201cSpeak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">say to them: \u2018You shall be holy, for I the LORD your God am holy.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children&#8217;s Sunday School classes on Sunday, May 27.
