Jesus\u2019 Death and Resurrection<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Read:<\/span><\/b>\u202fMatthew 27:27-28:20<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ask your child:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Why was the death of Jesus important? <\/span>Through His death, Jesus made full payment for the sins of humanity.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Why was the resurrection of Christ important? <\/span>Jesus\u2019 resurrection proved that He had defeated sin and death.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Emphasize this principle:\u202f<\/span><\/b>Jesus died for our sins and rose from the dead. Therefore, we should rejoice and embrace Him as Lord.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Practice:\u202f<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    • Praise God for Christ\u2019s sacrifice.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      • Follow Jesus as Lord.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
