  • Why did Israel ask for a king? <\/span>They wanted to be like other nations.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • What happened when Israel strayed into idolatry? <\/span>The kingdom was divided and eventually the people were exiled.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • What happened when Israel repented? <\/span>God restored Israel.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Emphasize this principle: <\/span><\/b>God offers abundant life to His people. Therefore, we should repent and devote ourselves to him.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Practice:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    • Praise God for being faithful to His people and promises.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
