God Protects Daniel\u2019s Friends<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Ask your child:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Why did Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego disobey the king? <\/span>Worshiping an idol would displease God.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • What did God reveal about Himself by delivering Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego? <\/span>God is able to rescue those who trust Him.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Emphasize this principle: <\/span><\/b>God alone deserves our worship. Therefore, we should keep ourselves from idols.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Practice:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    • Give the Lord your full devotion.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Demonstrate God\u2019s worth to others by obeying His Word.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
