God Shows Mercy to Jonah and Nineveh<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Read: <\/span><\/b>Jonah 1-4<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ask your child:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Why didn\u2019t Jonah want to preach to Nineveh? <\/span>Jonah didn\u2019t want God to show the Ninevites mercy.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • How was God merciful to Jonah and Nineveh? <\/span>God gave both the opportunity to repent.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Emphasize this principle:\u202f<\/span><\/b>God is merciful. Therefore, we should repent and share God\u2019s mercy with others.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Practice:\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    • Thank God for being merciful to sinners.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Ask God to use you to show mercy to others.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
