We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday&#8217;s lesson with your family.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">God Establishes the Priesthood<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Passage:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Leviticus 9:22\u201310:7<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Principle:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Man needs a mediator to come before God.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Praise:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>\u201cLord, I Lift Your Name on High\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Prompt:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Why did God create the role of a priest?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Did the priests have to obey God\u2019s laws?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">What happened to the two priests who disobeyed God\u2019s commands?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Who is the sinless priest?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Practice:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">By trusting only Jesus to bring him to God.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">By confessing his sins to God and asking Jesus to help him.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">By worshiping God with the right attitudes and actions.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>This Week:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>As a family, read Leviticus 9:22\u201310:7.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Next Week:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Leviticus 11\u201316<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Key Verse:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Leviticus 10:3b<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u201cBy those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy; and before all the people I must be glorified\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children&#8217;s Sunday School classes on Sunday, May 13.
