God Gives Jericho to Israel<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Read:<\/span><\/b>\u202fJoshua 6<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ask your child:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • What happened when the people of Israel shouted? <\/span>The walls of Jericho fell.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Why did God bring down the walls of Jericho in this way? <\/span>To bring glory to Himself and to demonstrate that He gives victory to those who trust and obey Him.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Emphasize this principle:\u202f<\/span><\/b>God uses our obedience to accomplish his will. Therefore, we should trust and obey Him.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Practice:\u202f<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Remember that difficult situations are opportunities for God to glorify Himself.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Obey the Lord and trust Him for the results.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Repent and flee to Christ to escape righteous God\u2019s judgment.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Sing: <\/span><\/b>\u201cTrust and Obey\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
