God Calls Israel to Love Through Obedience<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Read:<\/span><\/b>\u202fDeuteronomy 4, 6, 11, 28<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ask your child:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  • How should people love God? <\/span>With all their heart, soul, and might.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • How should parents teach children to love God? <\/span>By making God and His Word the focus in all of life\u2019s activities.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • What does God promise if we obey? <\/span>Blessing<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • What does God promise if we disobey? <\/span>Hardship<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Emphasize this principle:\u202f<\/span><\/b>God wants a relationship with us. Therefore, we should love and obey Him.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Practice:\u202f<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    • Memorize Scripture to meditate on throughout the day.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Apply the truth of Scripture to life today.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Demonstrate love to God by obeying His Word.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
