God Ordains and Fills the Tabernacle<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Read:<\/span><\/b>\u202fExodus 25-31, 40<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ask your child:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • What was the purpose of the tabernacle? <\/span>It was the place where Israel worshipped God and God dwelled among His people.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Why did God tell the Israelites to build the tabernacle? <\/span>God wanted close fellowship with His people.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Why were sacrifices offered? <\/span>Sacrifices served as payment for sin.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Where did God\u2019s presence dwell in the tabernacle? <\/span>The mercy seat above the ark.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • What is mercy? <\/span>God withholds the punishment we deserve.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Emphasize this principle:\u202f<\/span><\/b>God dwells with His people. Therefore, we should repent and obey Him.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Practice:\u202f<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    • Repent of your sin and turn to Christ.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      • Rejoice that faith in Jesus allows God to dwell in us.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Sing: <\/span><\/b>\u201cHoly, Holy, Holy\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        Prepare for next week:<\/span><\/b> Read Leviticus 1-7<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
