God Parts the Red Sea<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Read:<\/span><\/b>\u202f<\/span><\/b>Exodus 14-15<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ask your child:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Why did God have the Israelites wait before crossing the Red Sea?\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    To teach the Israelites to trust Him.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • How did the Lord protect the Israelites?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      He barred the way of the Egyptians as He parted the Red Sea for His people.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      • How did the Israelites respond? <\/span>They worshipped Him for His deliverance.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Emphasize this principle:<\/span><\/b>\u202fGod is a powerful deliverer. Therefore, we should trust and worship Him.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        Practice:\u202f<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          \n
        • Praise God for His power and His plan.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Trust Jesus for deliverance from sin and death.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            \n
          • Post reminders of God\u2019s ability to rescue from temptation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Sing:<\/span><\/b>\u202f<\/span><\/b>\u201cPharaoh, Pharaoh\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

            Prepare for next week:<\/span><\/b>\u202f\u202fRead\u202fExodus 19-20<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

            Memorize Oct 15-Nov 5<\/span><\/b>: <\/span><\/b>\u201cEvery\u202fperson is to be in\u202fsubjection to the governing authorities.
