Ask your child:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  • What were the names of Isaac and Rebekah\u2019s twin boys? <\/span>Esau, who liked to hunt, and Jacob, who liked to cook<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Why did Esau sell his birthright to Jacob? <\/span>Esau valued momentary pleasure over long-term treasure.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • How did Jacob get the family blessing? <\/span>Jacob wore Esau\u2019s clothes and put goat hair on his arms.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Emphasize this principle<\/span><\/b>: <\/span><\/b>God is in control. Therefore, we should trust Him and submit to his plan.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Practice<\/span><\/b>:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    • Praise God for His sovereign plan.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
