God Makes a Promise to Abram<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Read<\/span><\/b>: <\/span><\/b>Genesis 11:27\u201312:9<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ask your child<\/span><\/b>:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  • What did Abram worship before God called him? <\/span>Idols<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    • What did God ask Abram to do? <\/span>Leave his homeland and follow Him.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • What did God promise Abram? <\/span>Land, seed, and blessing (see Gen. 12:1-3)<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Emphasize this principle<\/span><\/b>: <\/span><\/b>God calls people to follow him. Therefore, we should trust Him and obey.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      Practice<\/span><\/b>:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
