God Creates the Heavens and the Earth<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Read<\/span><\/b>: <\/span><\/b>Genesis 1:1\u20132:3, 7, 18-24<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ask your child:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Who created the heavens and the earth? <\/span>God<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    • What did God say about everything He had made? <\/span>It was good<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Why did God make man?<\/span> For His glory<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Emphasize this principle<\/span><\/b>: <\/span><\/b>God created all things to bring Him glory. Therefore, we should show the world what he is like.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      Practice<\/span><\/b>:\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      • Praise God for making the heavens and the earth.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          \n
        • Obey God, who made us.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Live in a way that displays the character of God to others.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
