We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>The Gentiles Receive the Gospel<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong>\u00a0Acts 10:1-11:18<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ask your child:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How did God show that He wanted Gentiles to be saved? <em>God gave Peter a vision which revealed that He had eliminated the distinctions between Jews and Gentiles, making the gospel available to all people.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>What happened when Peter preached in Cornelius\u2019s home? <em>The Holy Spirit fell upon the Gentile believers.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Emphasize this principle:\u00a0<\/strong>God offers salvation to all people. Therefore, we should believe and proclaim the truth to others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Practice:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rejoice that God has chosen to save both Jews and Gentiles.<\/li>\n<li>Share the gospel with those around you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cChange My Heart, O God\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prepare for next week:<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Revelation 20:1-15<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memorize for Jul 24-Aug 14:<\/strong> <strong>\u201cGod made him who had no sin to be sin for us<\/strong>, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.\u201d <strong>2 Corinthians 5:21<\/strong> (NIV)*<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, July 24.
