We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Saul is Converted on the Road to Damascus<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong>\u00a0Acts 9:1-31<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ask your child:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What happened to Saul on the road to Damascus? <em>Saul was blinded by a light from heaven. Jesus spoke to him, and Saul placed his faith in Christ.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>How did Saul demonstrate his faith in Jesus? <em>Saul proclaimed Christ and urged others to follow Him.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Emphasize this principle:\u00a0<\/strong>God can transform anyone\u2019s life. Therefore, we should repent and seek to be used by Him.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Practice:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ask the Lord to use you in His service.<\/li>\n<li>Proclaim Jesus to others regardless of the cost.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cCome, Let Us Worship and Bow Down\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prepare for next week:<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Acts 10:1-11:18<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memorize for\u00a0Jul 25-Aug 15:<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cSo then, while we have opportunity, <strong>let us do good to all people<\/strong>, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith. <strong>Galatians 6:10<\/strong>*<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, August 8.
