We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Peter and John Preach the Gospel<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong>\u00a0Acts 3:1-4:31<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ask your child:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How was Jesus\u2019 name exalted in this passage? <em>Miracles were performed in Jesus\u2019 name. Peter proclaimed that there is no other name under heaven by which people can be saved.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>How did God answer the believer\u2019s prayer?<em> The believers were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the Word with boldness.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Emphasize this principle:\u00a0<\/strong>There is power in Jesus\u2019 name. Therefore, we should believe in Him and represent Him to others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Practice:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Praise God for providing salvation through Jesus Christ.<\/li>\n<li>Proclaim salvation in Jesus\u2019 name with boldness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cCome, Let Us Worship and Bow Down\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prepare for next week:<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Acts 6:1-7:60<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memorize for\u00a0Jul 25-Aug 15:<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cSo then, while we have opportunity, <strong>let us do good to all people<\/strong>, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith. <strong>Galatians 6:10<\/strong>*<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, August 1.
