Jesus Enters Jerusalem as King<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Passage:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Matthew 21\u201323; Zechariah 9:9<\/span><\/p>\n

Principle:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Jesus is the promised Messiah.<\/span><\/p>\n

Praise:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>\u201cKing of Kings\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Prompt:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • What did Jesus ride into Jerusalem?<\/span><\/li>\n
  • How did the crowds treat Jesus as the promised King?<\/span><\/li>\n
  • What did Jesus do in the temple?<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Why was Jesus angry with the temple priests?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Practice:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • By obeying Jesus as King.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • By worshiping Jesus as Lord.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • By telling others about the Messiah.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
