God Prepares Israel for the Covenant<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Passage:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Exodus 19<\/span><\/p>\n

Principle:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>God is worthy of fear and reverence.<\/span><\/p>\n

Praise:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>\u201cOur God Is an Awesome God\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Prompt:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • What did God promise Israel?<\/span><\/li>\n
  • What did Israel promise God?<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Why were the Israelites not allowed to go on the mountain?<\/span><\/li>\n
  • How did God reveal His presence?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Practice:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • By fearing and respecting God because He is holy.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • By obeying God\u2019s Word wholeheartedly.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • By thanking God for making people His treasure.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
