READ: 2 Kings 21-25<\/p>\n
ASK YOUR CHILD:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Why did God punish Judah? God\u2019s people had strayed into ever increasing levels of rebellion and idolatry.<\/p>\n
\u2022 What did God promise would happen after Israel repented? God promised to hear them and restore them to the land.<\/p>\n
EMPHASIZE THIS PRINCIPLE: \u201cGod judges sin. Therefore we should flee idolatry.\u201d<\/p>\n
PRACTICE:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Hate sin as God does.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Repent from sin and ask God for forgiveness.<\/p>\n
PRAISE: \u201cBlessed Be the Name of the Lord\u201d<\/p>\n
PREPARE FOR NEXT WEEK: Jonah 1-4<\/p>\n
