We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Review of Exodus\u2013Ruth<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Ask your child:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How did God demonstrate His love for His people? <em>He rescued them from oppression, provided for their needs, called them into a special relationship with Him, and fulfilled His promises to them.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>What did God ask of His people? <em>He asked them to love and obey Him.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Emphasize this principle:\u00a0<\/strong>God loves and provides for His people. Therefore, we should love and obey Him.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Practice:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thank God for His lovingkindness toward us.<\/li>\n<li>Trust and please the Lord in all circumstances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cSeek Ye First\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prepare for next week:<\/strong><strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Review Exodus-Ruth<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memorize for\u00a0Jan 31-Feb 21:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>\u201c<\/strong><strong>Let no\u00a0unwholesome word proceed from your mouth<\/strong>, but only such\u00a0a word\u00a0as is good for\u00a0edification according to the need\u00a0of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear.\u201d<strong> Ephesians 4:29<\/strong>*<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, February 7.
