We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday&#8217;s lesson with your family.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>God Ordains the Passover<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Passage:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Exodus 12\u201313<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Principle:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>God is merciful and sovereign.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Praise:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>\u201cThere Is a Redeemer\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Prompt:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">What was God\u2019s final judgment on Egypt?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Did Pharaoh let the Israelites go?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">What do Jews remember when they celebrate Passover?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Who is the Passover lamb for Christians?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Practice: <span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">By praising God for His awesome power and mercy.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">By trusting Christ as the final Passover lamb.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">By telling others about Christ\u2019s death for sin.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>This Week:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>As a family, read Exodus 12\u201313.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Next Week:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Exodus 14\u201315<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Key Verse:<span style=\"font-family: Optima\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Exodus 12:17<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\"> \u201cSo you shall observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread, for on this same day I will have brought your armies out of the land of Egypt.
