We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Genesis Review<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Read<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> Genesis 1-50<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ask your child<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What existed \u201cin the beginning\u201d? <em>Only God<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Who created everything that exists? <em>God<\/em><\/li>\n<li>What do the stories of Adam &amp; Eve, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph teach us about our relationship with God? <em>A relationship with God requires trust and submission to His plan.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Who always takes care of His people? <em>God<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Emphasize this principle<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> God created us to know Him. Therefore, we should trust and obey.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Practice<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Praise God for His work in creation &amp; faithfulness to His people.<\/li>\n<li>Trust in God\u2019s control by obeying His Word<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Prepare for next week<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Read\u00a0Exodus 1-4<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> \u201cTrust and Obey\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memorize for Nov 8-Nov 29:<\/strong> \u201cEvery\u00a0person is to be in\u00a0subjection to the governing authorities.
