We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>God Makes a Promise to Abram<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Read<\/strong><strong>: <\/strong>Genesis 11:27\u201312:9<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ask your child<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What did Abram worship before God called him? <em>Idols<\/em><\/li>\n<li>What did God ask Abram to do? <em>Leave his homeland and follow Him.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>What did God promise Abram? <em>Land, seed, and blessing (see Gen. 12:1-3)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Emphasize this principle<\/strong><strong>: <\/strong>God calls people to follow him.
