Read:<\/span><\/b>\u202fActs\u00a0<\/span>6:1-7:60<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ask your child:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  • How did Stephen respond to charges that He had broken the law<\/span>?\u00a0<\/span>He explained that Jesus was the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy, the Messiah.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Why did Stephen share his faith in Christ when he knew he could be killed for it<\/span>?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/i>Stephen wanted to be faithful to God, and he trusted God with his future<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • What happened to Stephen?\u00a0<\/span>He was stoned and went to heaven. The story of his faithfulness is forever included in God\u2019s Word.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Emphasize this principle:\u202f<\/span><\/b>God offers redemption through His Son<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0Therefore, we should trust Him as we bear witness<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    • Tell others of Jesus\u2019 death, burial, and resurrection.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Do what pleases the Lord<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>and trust God for your future.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
