The Parable of the Talents<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Read:<\/span><\/b>\u202fMatthew 25:14-30<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ask your child:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Why was the master happy with the servants who earned talents?\u00a0<\/span>They managed well the things entrusted to them.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • What kind of servant is Jesus looking for?\u00a0<\/span>Faithful servants<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Emphasize this principle:\u202f<\/span><\/b>God is our master. Therefore, we should faithfully serve Him.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Practice:\u202f<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • List some things God has entrusted to you that He intends you to use for His glory.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Identify ways that you could faithfully steward what God has entrusted to you.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Praise:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0\u201cI Surrender All\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
