We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>God Restores Jerusalem\u2019s Wall and People<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong> Nehemiah 1-10<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ask your child:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How did God use Nehemiah? <em>Nehemiah led the people to rebuild Jerusalem\u2019s walls.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>How did the Israelites respond to the reading of God\u2019s Word? <em>They repented.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Emphasize this principle:\u00a0<\/strong>God restores what is broken. Therefore, we should repent and seek His glory.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Practice:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Praise God for being faithful to His people and promises.<\/li>\n<li>Repent from sin and live to honor God.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cGreat Is Thy Faithfulness\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prepare for next week: <\/strong>Review 1 Samuel-Esther<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memorize for Mar 15-Apr 19: <\/strong><strong>\u201cFor by grace you have been saved through faith<\/strong>; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.
