We would encourage you to use<\/p>\n<p>the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>God Parts the Red Sea<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Exodus 14-15<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ask your child:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Why did God have the Israelites wait before crossing the Red Sea?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>To teach the Israelites to trust Him.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How did the Lord protect the Israelites?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>He barred the way of the Egyptians as He parted the Red Sea for His people.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How did the Israelites respond? <em>They worshipped Him for His deliverance.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Emphasize this principle:<\/strong>\u00a0God is a powerful deliverer. Therefore, we should trust and worship Him.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Practice:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Praise God for His power and His plan.<\/li>\n<li>Trust Jesus for deliverance from sin and death.<\/li>\n<li>Post reminders of God\u2019s ability to rescue from temptation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Sing:<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cPharaoh, Pharaoh\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prepare for next week:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Read\u00a0Exodus 19-20<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memorize for Nov 3-Dec 1:<\/strong> <strong>\u201cAnd we know that in all things God<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>works for the good of those who love him<\/strong>, who have been called according to his purpose.
