We would encourage you to use<\/p>\n<p>the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1 Samuel-Esther Review<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong>\u00a01 Samuel-Esther<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ask your child:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Why did Israel ask for a king? <em>They wanted to be like other nations.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>What happened when Israel strayed into idolatry? <em>The kingdom was divided and eventually the people were exiled.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>What happened when Israel repented? <em>God restored Israel.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Emphasize this principle:\u00a0<\/strong>God offers abundant life to His people.
