We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>God Shows Mercy to Jonah and Nineveh<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Read:<\/strong>\u00a0Jonah 1-4<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ask your child:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Why didn\u2019t Jonah want to preach to Nineveh? <em>Jonah didn\u2019t want God to show the Ninevites mercy.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>How was God merciful to Jonah and Nineveh? <em>God gave both the opportunity to repent.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Emphasize this principle:\u00a0<\/strong>God is merciful. Therefore, we should repent and share God\u2019s mercy with others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Practice:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thank God for being merciful to sinners.<\/li>\n<li>Ask God to use you to show mercy to others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cHumble Thyself in the Sight of the Lord\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prepare for next week:<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Daniel 3<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memorize for\u00a0Mar 10-Apr 3:<\/strong>\u00a0\u201c&#8230;in reference to your former manner of life, you<strong> lay aside the old self<\/strong>, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, and that you<strong> be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self<\/strong>, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.\u201d<strong> Ephesians 4:22-24<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>* Preschool verse in bold<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON: MARCH 10 The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, March 10.
