start=\"1\">\n<li>What was offered?\n<ul>\n<li>Male cattle, sheep, or goats without blemish, Turtledoves or pigeons.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>What was the purpose of the offering?\n<ul>\n<li>To provide for communion with God (<a class=\"rtBibleRef\" href=\"https:\/\/biblia.com\/bible\/nasb95\/Lev.%201.3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lev. 1:3<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Atonement for a person\u2019s\u00a0<i>sinfulness<\/i>\u00a0(<a class=\"rtBibleRef\" href=\"https:\/\/biblia.com\/bible\/nasb95\/Lev.%201.4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lev. 1:4<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>What was the sacrifice intended to symbolize?\n<ul>\n<li>The complete burning of the animal symbolized the worshiper\u2019s complete the sacrifice Christ made on your behalf by striving to live a holy life to maintain good fellowship with God.<\/li>\n<li>Eagerly offer sincere and sacrificial service to the Lord.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>\u00a0<b>Grain Offerings \u2013 Leviticus 2<\/b><\/h2>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>What was offered?\n<ul>\n<li>Flour with oil and frankincense, without leaven or honey and seasoned with salt.<\/li>\n<li>A first fruits offering would include full, green heads of grain<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>What was the purpose of the offering?\n<ul>\n<li>To recognize and thank God for His provision.<\/li>\n<li>To demonstrate one\u2019s dedication to the Lord.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>What was the sacrifice intended to symbolize?\n<ul>\n<li>The presence of salt in the offering may symbolize the commitment to keeping the covenant with God.<\/li>\n<li>Man\u2019s dependence on the Lord.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>What part did the worshiper play in making the sacrifice?\n<ul>\n<li>The worshiper presented it to the priests<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>What did this sacrifice reveal about a holy God\u2019s relationship with sinful men?\n<ul>\n<li>God is the giver of all that we have and enjoy.<\/li>\n<li>Man is dependent upon God for everything.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>In what ways has the death of Christ altered this sacrifice?\n<ul>\n<li>We no longer go through a mediator to offer our thanks to God.<\/li>\n<li>We are able to offer him our praise directly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>What is the application for us?\u00a0 What should our understanding of this sacrifice motivate us to do?\n<ul>\n<li>Thank God for His manifest goodness toward us in all that He has provided.<\/li>\n<li>Offer our lives to God in gratitude for what He has done for us.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><b>Peace Offerings \u2013 Leviticus 3<\/b><\/h2>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>What was offered?\n<ul>\n<li>Male or female cattle, sheep, or goats without developing and enjoying your relationship with God through Bible study, prayer, and private worship<\/li>\n<li>Participate wholeheartedly in corporate worship<\/li>\n<li>Serve God passionately<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>\u00a0<b>Sin Offerings \u2013 Leviticus 4-5<\/b><\/h2>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>What was offered?\n<ul>\n<li>Young bull without blemish<\/li>\n<li>Young male or female goat without blemish<\/li>\n<li>Female lamb without blemish<\/li>\n<li>Two turtledoves or young pigeons<\/li>\n<li>Omer (one-tenth an ephah) of fine flour.\u00a0 This equaled roughly 3.64 liters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>What was the purpose of the offering?\n<ul>\n<li>To reconcile a relationship with God that had been interrupted by unintentional sin<\/li>\n<li>To atonement for
