We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>God Uses Samson to Deliver Israel<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Passage:<\/strong> Judges 13-16<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle:<\/strong> God uses the gifts that He gives for His glory.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise:<\/strong> \u201cChange My Heart, Oh God\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt:<\/strong> Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What was good and bad in Samson\u2019s life?<\/li>\n<li>How did God accomplish His will in Samson\u2019s life?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice:<\/strong> Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By looking for ways that God has designed him to serve Him.<\/li>\n<li>By repenting of the sin that he pursues instead of obeying God.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This Week:<\/strong> As a family, read selected portions of Judges 13\u201316.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week:<\/strong> Ruth 1-4<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verse:<\/strong> Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, <strong>do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>* Preschool verse in bold print<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, May 13.
