We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Son of Man Is Resurrected<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Passage: <\/strong>Luke 23:50\u201324:43<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle: <\/strong>Believers should tell unbelievers about Christ\u2019s resurrection.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cChrist the Lord Is Risen Today\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt: <\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Why did the resurrection have to happen?<\/li>\n<li>What instructions did Jesus give the disciples before returning to heaven?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice: <\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By believing that Christ\u2019s resurrection is their only hope for salvation.<\/li>\n<li>By telling others that forgiveness of sin comes through repentance and faith in<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Jesus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This Week: <\/strong>As a family, read Luke 23:50\u201324:43.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week: <\/strong>Joshua 6<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verses:<\/strong> \u201cWhy do you seek the living among the dead? <strong>He is not here but is risen!\u201d<\/strong><strong> Luke 24:5b-6a*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>* Preschool verse in bold print<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, April 1.
