We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rahab Shows Her Faith in God<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Passage: <\/strong>Joshua 2<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle: <\/strong>Believers must submit in faith and deed to the victorious God.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cGod of Wonders\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt: <\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How did Rahab show her faith in God?<\/li>\n<li>Why was Israel encouraged by the spies\u2019 report?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice: <\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By encouraging others by telling them of God\u2019s works.<\/li>\n<li>By remembering that a believer\u2019s faith should be accompanied by deeds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This Week: <\/strong>As a family, read selected portions of Joshua 2.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week: <\/strong>Joshua 3:1\u20135:1<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verses:<\/strong> \u201c<strong>This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God<\/strong>, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.\u201d <strong>John 17:3*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>* Preschool verse in bold print<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, March 4.
