We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Israel Rejects God\u2019s Provision<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Passage: <\/strong>Numbers 11\u201312<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle: <\/strong>God is displeased when we complain.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cThis Is the Day\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt: <\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Why did the Israelites complain about God\u2019s provision?<\/li>\n<li>How did God punish the people?<\/li>\n<li>Who interceded for the Israelites?<\/li>\n<li>Is God pleased when we complain?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice: <\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By thanking God for the blessings in our lives.<\/li>\n<li>By being an example to others by having a thankful and obedient heart.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This Week: <\/strong>As a family, read Numbers 11\u201312.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week: <\/strong>Numbers 13\u201314<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verses:<\/strong> \u201cDo all things without grumbling and disputing\u2026\u201d Philippians 2:14<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, December 31.
