We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Wise Men Worship Jesus<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Passage: <\/strong>Matthew 2:1\u201318<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle: <\/strong>Jesus deserves our worship because He is the King of kings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cO Worship the King\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt: <\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What promise did God keep when Jesus was born?<\/li>\n<li>Who came to worship Jesus?<\/li>\n<li>How did they find Him?<\/li>\n<li>What did the wise men do when they found Jesus?<\/li>\n<li>What gifts did the wise men bring Jesus?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice: <\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By believing that Jesus is the promised King.<\/li>\n<li>By worshiping Jesus through being humble and giving to others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Next Week: <\/strong>Numbers 11-12<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verse: <\/strong>\u201cYou shall worship the Lord your God and serve him only.\u201d Luke 4:8<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, December 24.
