We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>God Preserves Israel<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Passage: <\/strong>Exodus 15:22\u201317:7<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle: <\/strong>God is merciful and good.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cGive Thanks with a Grateful Heart\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt: <\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Why did God test Israel?<\/li>\n<li>Why did the Israelites grumble and complain?<\/li>\n<li>What food did God provide for the Israelites?<\/li>\n<li>What happened when some of the Israelites broke God\u2019s command concerning the manna?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice: <\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By confessing grumbling and complaining attitudes.<\/li>\n<li>By trusting that God will provide.<\/li>\n<li>By trusting that God\u2019s Word is good.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This Week: <\/strong>As a family, read Exodus 15:22\u201317:7.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week: <\/strong>Exodus 19<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verses:<\/strong> \u201cYou shall not murder\u201d Exodus 20:13<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, September 17.
