We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>God Parts the Red Sea<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Passage: <\/strong>Exodus 14\u201315<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle: <\/strong>God wants us to trust and praise His power.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cI Sing the Mighty Power of God\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt: <\/strong>Ask your child these questions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Who led Israel to the Red Sea?<\/li>\n<li>Why did God lead the Israelites to the Red Sea?<\/li>\n<li>How did the Israelites escape the Egyptian army?<\/li>\n<li>What did God do to the Egyptian army?<\/li>\n<li>Did the Israelites worship God for delivering them?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice: <\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By submitting to the awesome power of God.<\/li>\n<li>By praising God for His mighty deeds.<\/li>\n<li>By trusting in God\u2019s love for His people.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This Week: <\/strong>As a family, read Exodus 14\u201315.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week: <\/strong>Exodus 15:22\u201317:7<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verses:<\/strong> \u201cHonor your father and your mother\u201d Exodus 20:12<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, September 10.
