We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>God Ordains the Passover<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Passage: <\/strong>Exodus 12\u201313<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle: <\/strong>God is merciful and sovereign.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise: <\/strong>\u201cThere Is a Redeemer\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt: <\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What was God\u2019s final judgment on Egypt?<\/li>\n<li>Did Pharaoh let the Israelites go?<\/li>\n<li>What do Jews remember when they celebrate Passover?<\/li>\n<li>Who is the Passover lamb for Christians?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice: <\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By praising God for His awesome power and mercy.<\/li>\n<li>By trusting Christ as the final Passover lamb.<\/li>\n<li>By telling others about Christ\u2019s death for sin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This Week: <\/strong>As a family, read Exodus 12\u201313.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week: <\/strong>Exodus 14\u201315<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verses:<\/strong> \u201cRemember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy\u201d Exodus 20:8<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, September 3.
