We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jesus Rises from the Dead<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Passage:\u00a0 <\/strong>Matthew 28<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle:\u00a0 <\/strong>Jesus has power over sin and death.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise:\u00a0 <\/strong>\u201cChrist the Lord Is Risen Today\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt:\u00a0 <\/strong>Ask your child these questions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Who appeared to Mary and Mary when they arrived at Jesus\u2019 tomb?<\/li>\n<li>Whom did Jesus appear to after His resurrection?<\/li>\n<li>What did Jesus tell His disciples?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice:\u00a0 <\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By obeying Jesus as Savior and Lord.<\/li>\n<li>By singing praise to the risen Savior.<\/li>\n<li>By telling others about Jesus\u2019 death and resurrection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This Week:\u00a0 <\/strong>As a family, read Matthew 28.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Passage:\u00a0 <\/strong>Genesis 1:1\u20132:3<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verse:\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures\u2026 1 Corinthians 15:4*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>* Preschool verse in bold print<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, April 16.
