We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jesus Enters Jerusalem as King<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Passage:\u00a0 <\/strong>Matthew 21\u201323; Zechariah 9:9<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle:\u00a0 <\/strong>Jesus is the promised Messiah.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise:\u00a0 <\/strong>\u201cKing of Kings\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt:\u00a0 <\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What did Jesus ride into Jerusalem?<\/li>\n<li>How did the crowds treat Jesus as the promised King?<\/li>\n<li>What did Jesus do in the temple?<\/li>\n<li>Why was Jesus angry with the temple priests?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice:\u00a0 <\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By obeying Jesus as King.<\/li>\n<li>By worshiping Jesus as Lord.<\/li>\n<li>By telling others about the Messiah.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This Week:\u00a0 <\/strong>As a family, read Matthew 21\u201323; Zechariah 9:9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week:\u00a0 <\/strong>Matthew 26:1\u201319, 36\u201350<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verse:\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son<\/strong>, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. \u00a0<strong>John 3:16*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>* Preschool verse in bold print<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, March 26.
