We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>John Testifies to the Exalted Jesus Christ<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Passage:<\/strong> \u00a0Revelation 1:1\u201320<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle: \u00a0<\/strong>Though trials and sufferings come, Jesus Christ continues to live, reign, and be faithful to His church.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise:<\/strong> \u201cCrown Him\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt:<\/strong> \u00a0Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What was the church experiencing at the time when John wrote Revelation?<\/li>\n<li>Why was Christ\u2019s message to John and the seven churches encouraging?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice:<\/strong> \u00a0Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By submitting to Jesus, who reigns as King and Lord over the entire universe.<\/li>\n<li>By eagerly awaiting Jesus\u2019 return.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This Week:<\/strong> \u00a0As a family, read Revelation 1:1\u201320.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week:<\/strong> \u00a0Revelation 5:1\u201314<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verse: \u00a0\u201cI am the Alpha and the Omega,\u201d says the Lord God, <\/strong>\u201cwho is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.\u201d<br \/>\n<strong>Revelation 1:8*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>* Preschool verse in bold print<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, February 26.
