We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>God Keeps His Promise to Protect Paul<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Passage:\u00a0 <\/strong>Acts 27<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle:\u00a0 <\/strong>God always keeps His promises.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise:\u00a0 <\/strong>\u201cGod Is So Good\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt:\u00a0 <\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What promise did God give Paul?<\/li>\n<li>What happened to Paul and the other men on the ship?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice:\u00a0 <\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By rejoicing in promises that God has kept, is keeping, and will keep.<\/li>\n<li>By remembering the promises that God has given to those who love Him.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This Week:\u00a0 <\/strong>As a family, read selected portions of Acts 27.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week:\u00a0 <\/strong>Acts 28:11\u201331<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verse:\u00a0 <\/strong>Therefore, <strong>let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace<\/strong>, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.\u00a0 <strong>Hebrews 4:16*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>* Preschool verse in bold print<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, February 12.
