We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paul Is an Example of Christ<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Passage:\u00a0 <\/strong>Acts 20:17\u201338<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle:\u00a0 <\/strong>The correct response before God is humble obedience, no matter the cost.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise:\u00a0 <\/strong>\u201cHumble Thyself in the Sight of the Lord\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt:\u00a0 <\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What did Paul share with the people of Athens?<\/li>\n<li>How did various people respond to Paul\u2019s message?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice:\u00a0 <\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By being sad when people worship something other than God.<\/li>\n<li>By warning nonbelievers that they will be judged by Christ.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This Week:\u00a0 <\/strong>As a family, read Acts 20:17\u201338.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week:\u00a0 <\/strong>Acts 27<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verse:\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>\u201cImitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.\u201d<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n1 Corinthians 11:1*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>* Preschool verse in bold print<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, February 5.
