Jacob Wrestles with God<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Passage:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Genesis 32<\/span><\/p>\n

Principle:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>God hears the prayers of those who believe in Him.<\/span><\/p>\n

Praise:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>\u201cOur God Is an Awesome God\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Prompt:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • What did Jacob pray to God?<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Why did Jacob pray?<\/span><\/li>\n
  • How did God answer Jacob\u2019s prayer?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Practice:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/span><\/p>\n

    • By trusting God instead of fearing men.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • By confessing his need for God.<\/span><\/li>\n
