We would encourage you to use the ideas below to review Sunday\u2019s lesson with your family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Trial and Denial of Jesus<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Passage:\u00a0 <\/strong>Matthew 26:75\u201327:26<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principle:\u00a0 <\/strong>Every person is accountable for his response to Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praise:\u00a0 <\/strong>\u201cJesus, Name above All Names\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prompt:\u00a0 <\/strong>Ask your child these questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How did people respond to Jesus differently?<\/li>\n<li>How did Jesus respond to the will of God?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Practice:\u00a0 <\/strong>Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By thanking God for His sovereignty.<\/li>\n<li>By asking God for help to serve Him completely.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This Week:\u00a0 <\/strong>As a family, read selected portions of Matthew 26:75\u201327:26.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Week:\u00a0 <\/strong>Matthew 27:27\u201366<\/p>\n<p><strong>Memory Verse:\u00a0 <\/strong>He was pierced\u00a0for our transgressions,\u00a0he was crushed\u00a0for our iniquities; the punishment\u00a0that brought us peace\u00a0was on him, and<strong> by his wounds\u00a0we are healed.<\/strong><strong> \u00a0Isaiah 53:5*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>* Preschool verse in bold print<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The following lesson was taught in our children\u2019s Sunday School classes on Sunday, September 11.
